Power Tools
A small, deliberate range: the two cordless tools that do the most work on a car or a job site, plus the light and power you need to actually use them. Pro-grade torque without pro-grade pricing, in US stock.
The tools
- 21V Brushless Impact Wrench, 1100Nm ($109.99) - brushless motor, 2700 BPM, battery and charger included. Enough torque for stubborn lug nuts and suspension bolts, which is where cheaper wrenches give up.
- 18V Cordless Reciprocating Saw ($66.99) - runs on Makita batteries you may already own. Variable speed to 3000 RPM, tool-less blade change, 4 blades included, cuts 100mm wood and 2mm metal.
Light and power to go with them
- USB Rechargeable COB Work Light ($14.99) - spotlight and floodlight modes for wheel arches, crawl spaces and roadside repairs.
- 5000mAh MagSafe Power Bank ($14.99) - keeps your phone alive when the job runs long and you're following a repair video.
Choosing between them
- Brushless matters - brushless motors run cooler, last longer and deliver more torque per charge than brushed equivalents. It's the single spec worth paying for.
- Check the battery platform first - the saw is built around Makita batteries. If you already own that system, you save money buying the bare tool.
- Torque vs speed - an impact wrench is for loosening and tightening fasteners hard. A reciprocating saw is for demolition and cutting. They don't overlap.
- Blade choice does the cutting - a reciprocating saw is only as good as the blade in it. Match wood, metal or pruning blades to the job.
FAQ
Is 1100Nm enough for car lug nuts? Comfortably. Most passenger car lug nuts torque to around 110-140Nm, so you have a large margin for rusted fasteners.
Does the reciprocating saw come with a battery? It's built for Makita 18V batteries and is available with or without one, so check the option you select.
Are these good enough for professional use? The brushless wrench and the saw are built to job-site spec. The difference from premium brands is warranty and service, not raw performance.
What's included with the impact wrench? The tool, a lithium battery and a charger, so it works out of the box.
Do these ship from the US? Yes, US stock with free shipping to most US regions.
